Chef Jason Tostrup shares
his passion for preparation,
educating and answering
questions about the
exquisite meals. After

Executive Chef
Jason Tostrup
Jason Tostrup
grows his own herbs, shops at local farms, bakes
bread made with Vermont-grown flour in the inn’s
beehive oven and roasts select beef in the
property’s fireplace, which dates back to 1792.
A Minnesota native who got his start working for
Charles Dale in his acclaimed Aspen restaurants,
Renaissance, Rustique, and Range, Tostrup worked his
way up to executive chef during his seven-year
tenure with Dale. From Colorado, Tostrup moved to
the Napa Valley wine country, securing a position at
Bouchon, Thomas Keller’s French bistro. During this
time, Tostrup also traveled to New York to stage at
Daniel, JoJo, Vong, and Aquavit.
