The Royal Hawaiian, A Luxury Collection Resort (O‘ahu), officially re-opened with its Pink Is the New Fabulous gala event on March 7. Celebrity event designer David Beahm coordinated the celebration that brought Hollywood celebrities to O‘ahu for the occasion and featured entertainment by Grammy-nominated trumpeter Chris Botti.
Events and Attractions : Soar through the Maui sky at heights up to 600 feet at Piiholo Ranch, which now features Hawai‘i’s longest zipline. At nearly three miles long, the zipline adventure takes visitors up to speeds of 40 miles per hour for a birds-eye view of the Makawao rainforest and panoramic sights of Haleakalä summit and Maui’s coastline. Make a new tour of the locations on O‘ahu featured in Hollywood films and television on the Hummer Movie/Lost Adventure. The tour ventures from the Nu‘uanu Pali past Kualoa Ranch to the Ka‘a‘awa Valley on the northeast shore to visit the various sites where Hollywood movies such as “50 First Dates,” “Godzilla,” “Tears of the Sun,” “You, Me, and Dupree” and the hit television show “LOST” were filmed.
