Vacation Travel Tools

May 26, 2008

Travel is easier when you have the right tools to get going. With the handy-dandy flight booker tool, you can prepare for your vacation by getting the kick-start with your airline flight. Oftentimes, my first task is to book the flight, then decide what hotels will be needed, car rentals required, theme park and attraction tickets I’ll purchase, etc.

Flying has become less and less fun, according to today’s traveler, who feels like a sardine in a little seat with less healthy air, longer delays, more restrictions on flying and a generally not-so-happy feeling about hopping on board a jet to get from A to B. Indeed, the airport and airline experience can be daunting. But just consider the price of gas now, and the time it takes to drive to your destination. For some taking local tours, driving has become the desired mode of vacation travel.

What’s reportedly occuring is that more congestion is happening on roads around attractions and major cities, thanks to the interest in saving money and traveling closer to home. Let’s face it. The world’s population is growing, and that means more flights, more cars and more travel around the globe.

We’ve not quite reached the outer space travel yet, so until we do, just book that flight and get yourself to where you need to go. You’ll maybe get a soft drink, a few cookies or snacks if you’re lucky, and who knows? You might meet the love of your life, or at least somebody nice on your next airplane trip.
