Truffle Festival Showcases Asheville’s Culinary Excellence

National Truffle Grower’s Association is sponsoring the first Truffle Festival in Asheville, North Carolina from March 5th to 8th, 2009.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are the backdrop to Asheville’s National Truffle Fest designed to experience truffles with wine lovers, truffle growers, chefs, and food fans.

Guests can view an art exhibit, “The Interpretation of the Truffle” where amateur celebrity and professional artists compete for top prize in a unique event featuring truffle hunting, dog training,  cooking demos, seminars, tasting dinners, and tours.  NationalTruffleFest.com.
