Thanks for posting the recipe. From time to time I review specialty liquors and have discovered some exciting, new mixes introduced to the consumer. One of my favorites is Three Olives Triple Shot Espresso, a 70 proof alcohol cocktail beverage mix with vodka made in England. I tried several other flavors of Three Olives such as Root Beer, and Tomato to be used in Bloody Mary drinks. See threeolives.com. Another liquor I tried that I found helps the quality of cocktails for a discriminating audience is Select Silver Tequila (100 proof). http://events.huntingtonbeachevents.com/?p=13 . In California we drink lots of margaritas, especially during Cinco de Mayo. Some of the finer Mexican restaurants stay away from the sickening color mixes and offer a purer drink with fresh squeezed lime. A trip to Tijuana across the border also yields some amazing cuisine and cocktails influenced by the recipes of Spain and the Mediterranean. I have found that travel and cocktails mix well, as long as you aren’t driving around. Loews boutique hotels even produced a small book several years ago that included their specialty cocktails featured in their hotels around the USA. http://hotelreviews.beachcalifornia.com/?p=31

Three Olives just added a cool feature to the site for people to check out. Proximo Spirits, Inc. added a web tool allowing consumers to locate their favorite brands of Proximo liquors, including Three Olives Vodka, 1800® Tequila, Gran Centenario, Ron Matusalem and Maestro Dobel. The bar and liquor store “locator” provides us fans of these flavored cocktail mixes and fine liquors an easy way to spot the nearest places serving cocktails or selling bottles of our favorite beverages.
By entering a zip-code, street address or city, and then choosing “bar” or “liquor store,” consumers are shown an interactive map with the names, addresses and telephone numbers of locations serving the spirits within any stated radius.
Elwyn Gladstone, Head of Marketing for Proximo, Inc., said that the tool was created to allow fans to quickly and easily seek out the popular brands, whether searching from their home computer or out on the town looking for a fun bar or restaurant serving their favorite cocktails.
Very nice! http://www.threeolives.com
