Anaheim, California is Birthplace of Disneyland

August 15, 2010

As you travel the globe this season and visit a Disneyland theme park with your children (or by yourself) you may wonder who thought up this amazing wonderland filled with illusion, light, color and magic. The answer is mostly Walt Disney and the place where it all began is the original Disneyland in Anaheim. When visiting California, you’ll surely want to visit Disneyland. Anaheim is the birthplace of this successful theme park that’s now over 50 years young. An empire has grown out of the original Disneyland, and Anaheim has embraced the relationship, making sure that tourists enjoy the best experience Southern California can offer with its friendly climate and gracious.  While many say this Disney park isn’t quite as big as others, the one thing it has that none of the others can claim is the Southern California climate–which close to perferct year-round! Among the other attractions nearby you’ll find miles of beaches, Hollywood, Knott’s Berry Farm, and so much more.  When you buy a ticket and head to a Disney park, think of old Walt (he’s passed away now) smiling and thinking about how he would make his dream come true–all he wanted to do was to have a fun place to take his kids when they were young. He thought big, and his name is larger than life!
