Joe Shaw

Joe Shaw has written for national news magazines, Eastern Group Publications, and the Orange County Register. He is the editor of Greetings From Huntington Beach, a blog that covers news, history and issues in Huntington Beach, California. He is a columnist for the Orange Coast Voice, former Huntington Beach planning commissioner and serves on the Public Relations Committee of the Huntington Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as a City of Huntington Beach board.

Shaw’s contributions to Vacation Travel Channel have included international destinations that have taken him around the globe on rail trips and excursions lasting several months. To this Californian’s delight, he discovered that his world travels weren’t just a vacation full of relaxation, but also provided information about city planning, environmental issues and the way other destinations around the globe deal with important issues such as infrastructure, and even tourism.
