over 13,000 years it has carved a path into rock and
limestone, creating a mile-long, 165-feet deep
gorge. This view was taken from the Simon Pearce
Restaurant operating in The Mill. Lunch and dinner
are served each day overlooking the falls of the
Ottauquechee River and its covered bridge. |
